MINISTRY

THE WORK

Build a congregation who sees its mission as bringing into the Kingdom of God as many souls as are called by Him, through His Son Jesus Christ, by His Word and His Spirit. Our particular work will make great use of the Arts in our Christly endeavor to save souls into His Kingdom.

THE PLAN

We will build by God's direction and mandate a complex which will consist of a sanctuary, which will be a multi-use facility. It will be used for Worship Services and the presentation of dramas, dance, and other performing arts. The building complex will contain large open spaces for ministering to children and teenagers. There will be a number of classrooms and teaching spaces. The Arts Institute will be integrated into the complex. It will contain multiple gallery and display spaces. It will contain a full-sized dance studio and a large visual and audio production center. A drama facility will be included (300 seat theatre) and, of course, a commercial sized kitchen with all the goodies, and a large dining room and service space

THE MINISTRY

We will produce quality visual and audio materials which express our faith and our hope in Christ Jesus. Our plays, artwork, songs, poetry, dance, etc. will put forth a Christian perspective. We recognize that our warfare is in the realm of words, images, and perceptions. We will produce materials in-house for distribution inside and outside of the Church and Institute.

Our Ordained Ministry will be a significant and important part of the Pastoring of the whole work and whole flock and of this institution. Every member is gifted by God to offer a gift of worth to His work. My long-range vision is to build a Christian Institute of the Arts school with a community growing up around it. We will also produce a television and radio program about the Christian perspective on the arts.

THE PURPOSE

All of this is for God's glory and the saving of many souls into His Kingdom-the Kingdom given unto His Son Jesus Christ.

The vision is more comprehensive. However, I have presented the essential heart of it. God grant to us the doing and completing of this great task.
